Crif Convention 2024 – Highlights of the day

On Sunday November 24, 2024, the 14th Crif National Convention was held on the theme: “Penser le monde d'après” (“To think the World of tomorrow”). Throughout the day, conferences, debates and discussions took place, and films and documentaries were screened. Numerous political, public and cultural figures also took part in the Convention.

Crif - Amsterdam: "An antisemitic lynching" after the Maccabi-Tel Aviv football match

On the night of November 7-8, 2024 in Amsterdam, dozens of Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters were lynched in the street because they were Jewish. Several people were injured in this organized manhunt and others are reportedly missing. Crif President Yonathan Arfi reacted on X and in the media to denounce this “antisemitic lynching.”

New UNESCO report warns that Generative AI threatens Holocaust memory

The report cautions that not only can Generative AI enable malicious actors to seed disinformation and hate-fueled narratives, but it can also inadvertently invent false or misleading content about the Holocaust.
