Crif expresses its full and complete solidarity with the Israeli people, endangered since yesterday to a massive and constant bombardment by Hamas’s terrorists.

Israel, like any state faced with this type of deadly aggression, has a right to defend itself and protect its people.

Crif calls on France and the international community to firmly condemn Hamas, which has deliberately chosen to cause chaos, the first victims of which are unfortunately civilians.

Crif sends its condolences to the families of Ashkelon’s victims and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.

Crif calls on the French authorities to ensure that the protests planned in France next Saturday will not turn into a surge of hatred and anti-Jewish violence as it was the case in 2014.
