More than eight months after the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel on October 7, 2023, and while hostages are still being held captive in the Gaza Strip, Crif presents the results of a survey carried out by Ifop on “the view of the French on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and its consequences on France".

Three surveys have already been carried out by Ifop for Crif since October 2023. Between rounds 3 and 4 of this survey, the French people were called to the polls for the European elections, the National Assembly was dissolved by the President of the Republic and legislative elections are scheduled for June 30 and July 7.

“We could have expected a collapse in support to Israel and the Israelis, particularly because of the campaign of hatred and denigration led by La France insoumise [during the European elections]. But the French people are putting things into perspective and have taken a very strong critical distance,” stressed Crif President Yonathan Arfi in a recent interview.
