#Crif - Francis Kalifat : "We must all wear the flag of the values of a France whose identity is diverse, of a welcoming and fraternal France"

Kalifat Francis, president of Crif, was in Bussy Saint-Georges September 6, to visit the religion's square.

Francis Kalifat visited all the places of worship in the square. This site is unique in Europe and was made possible thanks to interreligious dialogue that exists every day in the city of Bussy, which became a symbol of the Living Together.
 
The visit concluded with a meeting with the Mayor,  Chantal Brunel. Religious heads and many officials were present to discuss the theme of Living Together in the City. Chantal Brunel recalled that "the roots of our country are plural. The cultural and religious identity should not be lived like the building of barbed walls, but as a source of fertility from the time when these identities respect the foundations of our Republic."
 
Francis Kalifat concluded by recalling that "the law must be respected by all both in letter and in spirit and that in the Republic, they are rights for everyone, but also obligations for all." He warmly congratulated all the players in the city that make the success of Living Together... Read more.
