30th annual CRIF’s dinner

French President Francois Hollande attended the 30rd CRIF’s dinner along with 800 leaders.

He said that the country must offer its protection and affection to the Jewish community as anti-Semitism is on the rise in France. Hollande said in a speech that "Jewish are at home in France, it's the anti-Semites who have no place into the Republic”. About 10,000 soldiers and police forces are protecting synagogues, but also mosques, schools and cultural centers, Hollande recalled. They will stay mobilized "as long as necessary", he said.
