Le 7 novembre 2013, le Comité permanent des Affaires étrangères et du Développement international de la Chambre des Communes du Canada adoptait un rapport recommandant la reconnaissance des réfugiés juifs des pays arabes. Ce rapport fut approuvé par la Chambre des communes et par le gouvernement canadien le 26 mars dernier. En d’autres mots, la position canadienne sur la situation israélo-arabe ne prend plus en compte seulement les réfugiés palestiniens. Il était temps.

(Mar 30, 2012) The Director-General of UNESCO, Irina Bokova, today called for the protection of the cultural heritage of Syria.

‘Following a number of media reports that Syria’s cultural heritage is threatened by the current conflict, I wish to express my grave concern about possible damage to precious sites and to call upon all those involved in the conflict to ensure the protection of the outstanding cultural legacy that Syria hosts on its soil.  Damage to the heritage of the country is damage to the soul of its people and its identity.’

May 29, 2014) Justice for Jews from Arab Countries notes with great dismay and sadness, the destruction last weekend of the Eliyahu Hanabi Synagogue in the Jobar neighborhood of Damascus.

Justice for Jews from Arab Countries is similarly concerned about the preservation and protection of Jewish heritage and holy sites in Arab countries throughout the region, where there are no longer any Jewish communities.

Bien que le numéro deux du parti, Monsieur Louis Alliot, ait dénoncé ces propos, de même que Gilbert Collard, les raisons sont uniquement électoralistes et le Front National veut apparaitre comme un parti "propre".  Il dit haut et fort qu'il n'est pas antisémite pour plaire aux déçus des deux principaux partis politiques qui ont fait son score aux européennes.
