Ambassador André Erdös wished to hear the position of CRIF on the major issues of the moment, on the situation in the Middle East and on the social unrest in France.
The open and friendly conversation allowed to clarify the positions on various topics, ranging from the resurgence of anti-Semitism in Europe, the future of Israel, the current situation of the Jewish communities of Eastern Europe, the Balkans and Spain, the Euromed to the situation of Islam in France.
The Ambassador of Spain offered to organize a similar meeting in the near future. The Ambassador of the Czech Republic suggested he would organize the third meeting.
