Will Israel be sacrificed in Geneva?

The article asked questions about the Durban II conference, wondering if some European states would not be tempted to negotiate compromises in which, for the price of a few steps forward in civil society, they would accept the inclusion of a new, unique - and therefore evil – denouncement of Israel. This is to be feared.

The problem is that, although the Human Rights Council has shown itself to be totally biased and disqualified, its name alone is enough to give credibility to a resolution condemning Israel. But Israel is not the only one at risk. The European Union must also act forcibly, faced with the major danger of states calling into question the universality of Human Rights.
