Dalia Itzik thanked France’s Jewish community for its constant solidarity with Israel and expressed her desire to see this solidarity strengthened. She underlined the unwavering friendship for Israel of French president Nicolas Sarkozy and German chancellor Angel Merkel.
Richard Prasquier was accompanied by immediate past president Roger Cukierman and past president Theo Klein. Dany Shek, Israel’s ambassador to France and Pierre Besnainou, President of FSJU, were also present.
