Israel’s plan to combat its social problems

The Minister undertook a wide-ranging review of the country’s socio-economic problems, making no bones about the difficult situation of certain population groups and highlighting the country’s efforts, in particular on behalf of Arabs and Bedouins. In his opinion, Israel needs to show that it can innovate, in particular by imaginative use of information technology. Jewish demography, anti-Semitism and the situation in Gaza and Iran were among the other topics covered by Yitzhak Herzog, who gave straight answers to the questions raised by the audience.
